so Caroline and I went for a cruze down the canal in our "new to us" boat.the water level is still very high remarkably considering we are nearing the end of July,this was around 11am and it was flat calm.we pushed off under the hwy1 bridge and went up stream as far as the Kieth Wilson bridge, and back.in total it took us roughly 90min.this is at a walking pace with our quite electric motor.it was a beautiful day and we of course had fun.oh and so did Mia.

Neil in Trinidad
so here is neil obviously on the right, and his partner in crime nick.this pic was taken somewhere in trinidad,between them is the sonar head owned by their boss doug. nick is a diver i believe born and bred in trinidad, they will drop the sonar head in the water and it will be neil's job to interpit and secure the images on his computer. apparently neil will be working off shore for 3 weeks, very soon, man is he going to have some stories to tell when he gets home! we miss him.
